What is zeolite and for what it is used for?

Zeolite Clinoptilolite is a volcanic rock with a crystalline structure made of tetrahedral of SiO4 and AlO4. Zeolite has a structure consisting of cavities that contain cations, water and relatively small molecules to act as a “molecular filter.” The word zeolite comes from Greek and literally means “cooked stone”. “Zeo” means cooking and “lithos” means stone. There are many types of zeolite, but the only one used in supplements and detox products is zeolite clinoptilolite.

Natural deposits of zeolite clinoptilolite can be found in Slovenia, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine, Norway, USA, Cuba and Iran, although the exact composition varies depending on the origin. Zeolite with a clinoptilolite content of at least 85% is called zeolite clinoptilolite.

Zeolite clinoptilolite is commercially available in the form of a powder milled using a milling process called PMA, which is why it is so effective for the use in healthcare. PMA stands for Panaceo Micro Activation. Panaceo is an Austrian company that invented and patented this micro-grinding system. With the PANACEO microactivation, the biophysical properties of the volcanic rock are multiplied.

Zeolite is ideal for the detoxification of the organism, for example through detox baths with filtered water and 25-50 grams or more of activated zeolite clinoptilolite. Due to the fact that most toxins have a positive charge, they are easily neutralized by the negative charge of zeolite.

Preventive use of zeolite clinoptilolite against:

  • Environmental toxins
  • Heavy metals
  • Free radicals
  • Over acidification

“Activated zeolite clinoptilolite is a substance that can simultaneously reduce the excess of TRAM (exogenous and endogenous toxins, free radicals, ammonium and heavy metals) and their synergistic toxicity in the body.

The activated zeolite clinoptilolite (ZCA) was subjected to a series of biological experiments, which, due to its characteristic effects, led to the registration of various preparations by the Austrian company PANACEO and are allowed for medical use at European level (DM-TUV SE 0197 sel 2016). Zeolite acts as a cation exchanger, free radical blocker and molecular sieve.”

Zeolite is the most effective detoxifying agent (detox, elimination of acidity, metals, etc.) for the body, and has also many other uses.

Zeolite is able to absorb odorous gases such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and organic sulfur compounds, making it also very suitable for eliminating bad smells! Its ionizing, binding and antifungal properties make it suitable for various cleaning purposes.

Possible uses according to Ecosfera Sergio Gobbin

HOUSEHOLD

  • Cleaner for silverware. Degreaser for stone tables
  • Odor inhibitor for shoes, suitcases, lockers, refrigerators, pet cages, armpits and feet, diapers and incontinence pads
  • Dishwashing detergent with degreasing and cleaning action, antifouling for pipes, deodorant for vacuum cleaners (DNA), detoxifier for washing fruits and vegetables
  • Detoxifiers and air fresheners (heaters and fans)
  • Anti-mold agent for walls and tables

PERSONAL HYGIENE

  • Strong effect in foot baths
  • Cosmetics
  • For cleaning greasy hands that have come into contact with toxic substances
  • Excellent for mixing with liquid soap

PLANTS

  • Fungicidal, insecticidal (partial) and bactericidal effects on plants without harm to the environment

WATER

  • Fast soil and water detoxifier (Eli Medea ecosphere system)
  • Odor remover for manure and malodorous fertilizers
  • Groundwater protection

ANTS

  • The dewatering effect of zeolite destroys ants without the use of toxic products
